As I said before, the costume of Ultra Seven leaving the gloves and boots separate with the hems exposed doesn’t look so much strange due to its entire design and the body color.
But I feel I wanted to see seamless Ultra Seven (and Returned Ultraman) as well.
The new Ultramans, such as Ultraman Tiga, Dyna and Gaia, in the 1990’s and after have the hems tucked into the wet suit.
Is that what is called upside-down thinking?
You can see the constant ingenuity even in such a thing.
Nowadays, the newly made suits of Shodai (first) Ultraman have developed so much as they look perfectly integrated with the gloves and boots seamlessly.
It’s a great job!!!
Shodai Ultraman, which appeared in the series of “Return of Ultraman” and after from the 1970’s through 1980’s, exposed the hems of the gloves and boots like Returned Ultraman because the costume was the one reportedly diverted from that of Returned Ultraman.
Of course, it was not acted by Satoshi (Bin) Furuya who played the original Shodai Ultraman, either.
And it looked different from the image of the Shodai Ultraman played by him in every respect.
The constant efforts to make Shodai Ultraman look closer to the original that can be seen today absolutely deserve admiration!!!
